Would Britain accept an American king/queen (to the British only)?

To be honest we would not care, we have a constitutional monarchy and the crown has no power. Our Parliament has the power to abolish the monarchy if the wish it, I would not choose to get rid of the Monarchy as they are a key part to our History.
