My 3 month old puppy won't eat his puppy food and I dont know why?

His a chi-poodle. I leave him with his my boyfriend about a week ago and since then he has been eating. my boyfriend has tried mixing his food with different types of puppy chow and that doesn't work. His poops normally and he does vomit. I don't know what is going on can someone give me some words of wisdom
