Do you believe that the government needs to be more honest in the deployment of the US military?

There are a lot of people to say that because they are all volunteers,they got what they signed up for .The government has an obligation to the all volunteer military to not send them off to war for a lie !In the 60's Lyndon Johnson sent the military off to war in vietnam ,he used the gulf of ton kin incident as an excuse to send them there and he was wrong ! George Bush jr. used WMD as an excuse to send US military to Iraq.No WMD has ever been found ,some believe it was a lie.My question is ,even though they are all volunteers do you think that sending them off to war for a lie is wrong? They signed up to protect America and the least the American people could do is to make sure that they are not put in harms way for untrue reasons.The people who have served in the military are the ones who could really understand that no body should be put in harms way for a lie.Those of you who have never served may not even care .Maybe some of you think that the WMD was sent out of the country.With the worlds most advanced military coming down the road Saddam would have used these weapons to protect himself ,IF HE HAD THEM ! The US government knew this and still sent America troops into harms way .Both Democrats and republicans have done this and they were both wrong ! So ,it is not just a republican of democrat thing ,it is a Federal government question .
