How to stop the earwigs from getting in my rabbit cage!?

ok... so i have a rabbit nammed skittles and he is a little over a year!~ So..... i looked in his hut the other day.. and NO JOKE there must have been like at least 50 earwiga all gathered in one corner!!!!!!` PLEASE HELP!!~
