Could my friends and I form such a band?

We are going to be a singer for the main vocals,me (I am playing keyboard piano and back doing back vocals) my brother (guitar and back vocals) ans a friend of mine (same with my brother).But we do not have a drummer.Can we still play rock music but make it more kind of melodic?
