Is gender discrimination perfectly acceptable to women, but only on their terms?

For example, women think it's perfectly okay for a woman to choose gynecologists based on their gender, but it's inappropriate for men to choose lawyers based on their gender. So does this make women hypocritical bigots whose opinions should be systematically ignored?
