How can the military justify active duty, when there would be none if they wouldn't go?

The bad people are right around the corner and you wouldnt want to be too far away from your hole or you couldnt stick your head in the sand and make them go away. I wouldnt go around questioning anybody's intellect there high speed. They might just take a look at yours.
